I was experimenting with my BIOS when I shouldn't have, using an Aorus X570 Elite Wi-Fi BIOS version F30. I admit I made a mistake—I altered the USB settings on all my USB devices and somehow messed things up, turning off my USB controllers and making them useless. My PC is still not working even though it’s fully unplugged overnight without the CMOS battery. I’ve also tried resetting the CMOS with jumpers, but nothing has worked. Please help me out!

Check for illumination across the motherboard after turning on the PSU. Look for any indication of activity or power flow.

Do you want to know if there are any lights on your debug light? They might point at the CPU, RAM, BIOS or something else.

It has its boots, but there are no lights and USB isn't functioning, which means the debug lights aren't working.

Your USB controller is connected to the motherboard's chipset. Have you installed the most recent BIOS update for this chipset?

You can use a USB without connecting a computer. Place the BIOS file in a well-known folder or better yet on an additional drive if you have more than one. If not, create a new directory on your C drive and store the bios file there. Keep it in mind that I missed the part about updating the chipset. The chipset update is unrelated to the BIOS update but must follow it. It’s handled via Windows, coming from the same source as your BIOS update, but labeled under “firmware” instead of “Bios.” Edited March 31, 2023 by Harmsway1283

Uses can't be accessed on your USB drive; Windows starts fine but devices don't function properly.

Oh no, thanks for letting me know. No mouse or keyboard access due to the USB problem. I'm continuing now.
