Assistance with game pass and ea purchases
I’ve reviewed the information and confirmed you need to connect your original account with your Xbox account. I also noticed a December article stating EA’s PC version of Microsoft Game Pass Ultimate is delayed and currently available only on consoles. I don’t know if it’s been released yet.
EA Play was scheduled for December but has been postponed, with no additional information released.
I own E.A Play through Steam and Game Pass on Windows. They were intended for all PC Game Pass members to receive E.A Play starting December 15th, 2020. But on the release day they provided a weak justification and it didn’t materialize—though plans suggest it will happen again this year. As a result, you’ll only receive E.A Play for free on the Xbox version of Game Pass. These versions aren’t compatible across devices, so you’ll need to buy a new one if you want it on your PC.
That's the approach I took when the release date was missed—December 15th. Overall, it works well. I've revisited Jedi: Fallen Order (after initially playing it on PS4 Pro), FIFA 21, Battle for Benicar, BF1, 5, Titanfall 2, Mass Effect Andromeda. I'm also planning to test the 10-hour trial of Star Wars Squadrons.
For a quick note, the E.A Play version on the official Origin site includes all games, while the Steam edition lacks a few titles. Keep that in mind.
I just got Battlefield V the night before. Jedi: Fallen Order and Squadrons should be ready by tomorrow, too. Seriously, game services are a steal—everything’s under $30 and the total is over $130.
I had to try Jedi: FO on PC because the experience wasn't great on the PS4 Pro. The graphics didn’t perform well, and there was a blurry effect that made everything look hazy. The squadrons received positive feedback, so I’m hoping it turned out okay.
