Hello,
I’m considering wiring an external power button for an arcade computer. Usually it’s straightforward and you just purchase a button with the correct wiring available online. But I wanted to try something bigger, like the one shown here:
https://a.co/d/gcznEzT.
I plan to use it together with:
Wiring
By trimming the ends of the second link and swapping them for arcade button spade connectors.
Would this approach be feasible? I’m not entirely sure about the exact wiring requirements. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hmm, it seems pretty straightforward after all. I believed the button needed a special wiring setup because the video shows it, but upon closer inspection of the arcade button connection, there are only three standard prongs, with one left open. It looks like the button might turn on by itself if the positive and negative terminals are connected.
