I attempted to track the real chronological sequence of Call of Duty releases, but only found the release dates. Could anyone clarify the actual in-game timeline or the order of events? Also, I’m curious if Ghost appears in the game’s timeline.

CoD 1 -> CoD 2 -> CoD WaW? -> CoD 3 -> CoD BlOps -> CoD BO2 (1980s storyline) -> CoD 4 -> CoD MW2 -> CoD MW3 -> CoD BO2 (2025) -> Ghosts -> AW -> BO3 Only the subseries (MW and BO) connect. AW isn't established and no one knows about Ghosts or anything before 3.
