Attempting to push my setup to higher speeds was a new experience on my 2700x. Each restart would cause it to stall before Windows loaded or crash when it reached the OS, though the CPU would spike to 3.8GHz. The motherboard is an ASUS Strix B450-F with a Corsair H100i RAM stick and gaming cooling.

Also tried reverting to base clock, everything functions properly.

Check if the CPU is being pushed beyond its limits or if the RAM is struggling to keep up.

It looks like the process wasn't completed correctly. Please restart and begin fresh, but don’t hesitate to watch some guides if you’re unsure.

Lower the overclock slightly, aiming for half the previous setting. Check if it functions. If successful, let it run for 20 minutes. If stable, proceed to increase gradually; if not, reduce again. Keep repeating until you discover the optimal setting for your CPU.

Current voltage configurations are being tested. BSODs occurred during voltage adjustments without clock speed limits, causing crashes when CPU exceeded safe thresholds.

This indicates your overclock isn't reliable. Not every CPU can handle even a slight speed increase beyond its base performance.

You're testing a static overclock? (manual) Probably not as effective as the SenseMi overclocking on that board. At 4.0 to 4.1ghz manually, aim for a 1.410v core speed. Around 4.2ghz you'd target 1.450-1.4750v. (It draws more power, all cores and threads need more current.) At 4.3ghz you'd likely be in the 1.5-1.5250v range. That's what I've noticed from experience. If you need advice on fine-tuning SenseMi tech, I'm here to help.
