Hey everyone. I’m planning to use MacOS on my unused laptop with a Core i7-8550U, 16 GB RAM, and built-in UHD Graphics. I’m not sure if these specs are enough for MacOS and whether it’s necessary to remove Windows. Also, I don’t have anyone with a Mac nearby who can help, so I’m wondering how to get started without one. Looking forward to your advice!

You're unlikely to enjoy integrated graphics on MacOS.

My CPU can handle virtualization, and we could install it directly in VirtualBox so it works on Windows too. Since VirtualBox is also available for Oracle, this would be a good option.

Hey there! The error you're seeing means the virtual machine isn't set up properly for the guest OS. It's possible the VM settings need adjustment or the guest environment might be missing certain configurations. Have you checked the VM status or looked into enabling graphical console support? Let me know if you want more details!
