I just assembled a new PC and it powers on with RGB lighting and fans running, but I’m not seeing any display signal on my monitor. I’ve checked several things: all connections seem secure, switched cables from HDMI to Display, tested with a laptop connected to the monitor which worked fine, confirmed the correct input source, and even tried removing the GPU to see if it helped. I also swapped RAM sticks and changed the BIOS, but nothing resolved the issue. The AIO fans aren’t spinning even though the RGB lights are working, and I noticed some LED indicators on the MoBo didn’t activate during boot. The GPU isn’t lighting up at all, and pressing the power button on the case doesn’t shut it down. I’m trying to follow my parts list for reference.
It's quite challenging to observe them clearly because they're very tiny. However, from what I understand, it seems they aren't responding to the system activation.
If none of these components are activating, it likely points to a power supply issue or a problem with the board itself. Checking fans connected to the board that aren't starting alongside the main system could indicate further complications. Using a reliable power supply—even a smaller one—to test for a POST would be the next step. If the board behaves similarly with a good power supply, it suggests the board is faulty.
Well, it was definitely the PSU. I used an old 750-watt unit that was sitting around, and it all functioned properly. I even noticed the pump running, the GPU lighting up, and eventually got into the BIOS. Thanks for the advice!
