I didn't manage to overclock, I tried flashing and it worked (same as the file name), but I can't overclock. It's really frustrating. Can someone help me over Skype or something? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but whenever I check CPU Z it just shows 3.2 ghz, not 3.8. (HALP)

Your CPU is locked, you can't increase the frequency using a clock multiplier. Without a BIOS that supports K overclocking, you won't be able to boost the i5 6500 with BCLK.

It relies on the specific model and settings. According to what I know, most recent BIOS versions turn off this feature, thanks to Intel.

The outcome varies based on the specific Mobo and BIOS. It seems that newer BIOS versions often disable this feature, thanks to Intel. Are there any older BIOS options available for overclocking or that support overclocking?
