Assist with restoring Windows 10 installation.
Hey there, so I recently set up a new PC a few days back and installed Windows 10 using an old installation USB from 2016. When I tried to update, it kept throwing errors. I then used a newer Windows media drive to try restarting Windows 10 via the recovery settings, but the 'choose device' option wasn’t visible, making it impossible to reinstall from my own USB. If I just booted through the installation USB in BIOS and installed Windows 10 that way, would that remove the old build from the PC? I’m curious about any potential issues. Thanks for your help!
The USB model includes two boot choices: 1) SanDisk (61.5GB) and 2) UEFI with SanDisk, Partition 1 (61.5GB). Decide which fits your needs best.
