I do not think so. You seem to be POSTing just fine. It doesn't seem like hardware at all and probably is a missed software setting. Are you wiping your drive first? If you have leftover windows OS on the drive, that could mess you up. Even if it's gpt and not mbr

I cleaned it as a brand new SSD, but when I power it on it says “insert bootable drive,” yet it crashes with any other bootable device.

Checked the rear USB ports for direct connection to the motherboard i/o. This helps determine if a front USB is causing the problem. Consider using an Ubuntu installer or LiveCD to test booting. Verify if NVMe appears under NVME/PCIE in your BIOS. Your screenshot shows SATA ports but it would be useful to confirm proper detection in BIOS. Based on the video of your Windows installer crashing, it seems you aren’t even reaching the NVMe selection stage. Therefore, it’s unlikely the M.2 slot is the issue; I’m more inclined toward the USB ports, especially since you’ve tested several flash drives.

Another tip is to disable WHQL in your BIOS if it's enabled, especially when using UEFI. Once Windows is installed, you can switch it back. The USB label showing UEFI might not match because the installer defaults to MBR on older systems. Use Rufus with GPT to ensure proper formatting. After booting from the USB, try accessing it directly through the BIOS menu.

When Csm is turned off, the drives aren’t visible. Enabling Csm makes them appear. I’ve checked the back ports on the motherboard, but the problem persists—the same issue occurs even with different SATA ports, and it freezes right before Windows loads.

Turn off CSM before insertion for a proper installation. If issues persist, try loading defaults or clearing CMOS and retry. Consider using Ubuntu as an alternative, then proceed with warranty considerations. Verify your SSD is correctly configured for GPT; if it uses MBR, you may need to convert it.
