Today I cleaned up my PC and was a beginner, so I thought I could remove some cables and reroute them. My motherboard is an ASRock H61-HVS. I took out the front headers and wasn't sure what I had taken off. After reconnecting everything, the button worked but the fan spun and then stopped. Then it spun again when I pressed it, but it stopped afterward. Now nothing seems to work... Please help.
PC-4LIFE:
Did you reattach them precisely where they were originally, since even a single misplacement might lead to errors?
Also, did you use an anti-static wrist strap? Touching the motherboard or its parts without protection can harm it.
Yeah, everything seems okay now—just didn’t connect the cables correctly
😀
they were in the correct slots but not fully aligned
