Assetto Corsa?
Thank you for sharing that. I'm currently downloading it. ;-)
I completely agree with what was discussed here. I've got around 36 hours in the game, and it's probably one of the best racing sims I've played. I agree that the damage isn't too bad, but I don't mind much as long as the car physics feel authentic. I'd prefer the focus to be on realistic handling rather than spending time fixing cosmetic issues. For early access, it looks really smooth. I got into the game a while back and at that time there were very few cars and tracks, so I went all in. It turned out to be a good decision and it's still great for fans of this genre. Just make sure your system has an i5 processor and a powerful GPU, since the game is quite demanding. With 24 opponents on the track, it really tests my i5 across all four cores.
It's definitely not limited by CPU power since I ran the game at about 70fps with my i3 2120 + 7870xt. There are occasional drops, but overall it's quite well optimized right now. I also tried Project Cars, which seems a bit smoother and delivers around 9fps.
