No one has tried Assetto Corsa yet. You considered purchasing it before its early release, but it hasn't finished, so you're unsure if buying now is wise. Is the full cost justified or better saved during a sale? For your Logitech Driving Force GT, it depends on what you value most in the game.

It's alright, there are still many tasks left from the previous playthrough.

I really enjoy Gran Tourismo on my PS3 and now I'm looking for a way to play it on my PC using Driving Force GT. It's enjoyable just cruising around without racing, focusing on the more challenging vehicles. Although still in development, you might find a copy for around 27 EUR—it was definitely worth the investment. Just make sure you have a wheel set up. I don't like the keyboard setup in this game much. A positive aspect is that the tracks are laser-scanned, making every bump feel authentic. They'll continue adding more cars soon. Looking forward to seeing AUDI. ;-) Feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I really like it. Bought it last week at kinguin. The current state is a release candidate and I haven't found any bugs or encountered any crashes. Graphics and sounds are awesome. Car physics as well. Track and car selection is good but not great. But you can easily add mods and there are already some very good. I added a few cars and tracks of astonishing quality (same as the game itself). From what I read and saw there's a lot more community created content coming. Using a logitech g27 and really can't complain. I think now's the time to jump in. The price will probably increase with the release.

They mentioned they’re almost finished with the features. They’ll continue focusing on adding more content. The game runs smoothly, and the new VSR from AMD seems excellent!

Indeed. Check out this map : http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index....ate.13505/ I love to drive this map with a classic lamborghini / cobra / alfa. (Cobra is already in the game others are mods). Hard to say because we don't know whether it will be part of the holiday sale or not. I paid 25€ last week. It's a new game so I doubt the discount will be a huge one in a sale. So I got it at kinguin the usual 25% steam sale discount. So in the end it might be sale price or close to it. But have in mind, it's all speculation . In the end the game is worth it.

It’s really impressive what Assetto Corsa offers. The tire model stands out as the best yet, with solid friction handling. Some damage effects are present but the game still feels a bit unstable and needs improvement. Honestly, development is nearing completion—they’re regularly adding more cars through free updates, and a strong modding scene has taken over the Rfactor community. The car mode is still basic now, just a temporary placeholder that can be expanded later. The AI struggles for casual players, though it becomes more manageable once you adapt to the mechanics. The audio quality is getting better, though bass remains limited. Visuals are stunning and the optimization matches top-tier games. Physics feel remarkably accurate, matching the best in the industry—Rfactor 2 and Assetto Corsa are tied for that. Multiplayer might pose challenges due to community issues rather than game design. Expect more customization options and the ability to tweak settings freely. Updates will include rain and night modes, which they’re planning to implement despite some resistance from users. Overall, it’s a solid investment thanks to its extensive modding support, which should keep it relevant for years to come.
