It still feels like a mess sometimes, and bugs keep popping up, though they're happening less often than before. Even after fixing all the technical problems, the game remains quite average and doesn't really stand out.

I haven't experienced them yet, but my friend mentioned they've always been fine. This is my first time playing Assassins, and I think it's really good (just playing on Xbox One).
