GTX 760 2GB, 8GB DDR3 @1333MHz, i5-2400, 2TB HDD, DH67CL Motherboard, Windows 10 64-bit, 600W PSU. Game freezes after extended periods and requires PC restart to return to desktop.

Due to likely unmet minimum game requirements...

The current CPU is listed here.

You have sufficient memory capacity, however, it operates in single-channel mode, which requires a dual-channel configuration.

The present GPU does not satisfy the minimum specifications.

If the game is crashing due to an unstable GPU overclock, please detail the overclock settings and modifications made.

What is the maximum overclock achievable while maintaining stable memory and core clocks without extensive benchmarking?

No one can simply provide those numbers. Two CPUs/GPUs/memory kits do not overclock identically; it depends entirely on the silicon quality. Even if you consulted someone else’s GPU OC profile, there’s no guarantee yours would run at the same settings. Furthermore, overclocks don’t offer a substantial performance increase—typically only a few percent, perhaps? You should upgrade your current hardware.

I fixed it myself. I found that AC Unity’s lag is caused due to an excessive amount of people as they all have AI. The proof for this statement is you will never lag at rooftops until you try to swing your mouse towards people; the most populated areas lag more rather than graphically intensive areas. I couldn't counter that but I have a solution.

In-game settings:
Resolution – 900p 1440
Texture Quality – 900 or 1600
Shadows – 900
Environment Quality – High
Texture Quality – High
HBAO+
FXAA
Bloom – On
Nvidia Control Panel:
DSR 4X Native
DSR Smoothness – 100
Program Settings – ACU.exe: Prefer Max Performance
Low Latency Mode – On
Vertical Sync – Half the Refresh Rate
Virtual Reality Pre-Rendered Frames – 2-4 (I am still testing)
Triple Buffering – Test it yourself

And open MSI Afterburner:
Core Clock – +50
Memory Clock – +400

And now I am currently testing new speeds:
+60
+550

That’s all, and if some genius guy finds a code to reduce population density this game would run wayyy smoother. Your lag will mostly be fixed but you will experience mini spikes sometimes; it's playable and you will be able to enjoy the story of the game like you used to for Assassin's Creed 2 and Black Flag.
