This idea seems a bit out of place. I'm still thinking it's unnecessary, especially since I identify as gay. While representing diverse communities is important, forcing transgender representation in a historical RPG about violence and rebellion doesn't fit the vibe. Most companies aim for political correctness, but I believe it can detract from the game experience. What do you think? Please keep it polite.

Assassin's Creed has consistently portrayed a highly politically accurate version of history, ranging from vilifying crusaders to depicting the redcoats as ruthless killers. It’s no surprise—I just want to avoid this series. This appears to be their final attempt to remain relevant and appealing after their previous missteps.

They’re trying to act like PC bro, aren’t they? Are you implying you’re not a PC bro? Here’s a completely unrelated gif.

If the developers are interested, they should go for it. As a developer, I’d prefer to have the character I planned from the start without outside influence. It’s possible Ubisoft made this decision independently, but who can say for sure?

The matter is clear, yet I ponder how such a notion might be presented with the style of a bygone era.

Discussing Assassin's Creed is the focus here. Unity might have fallen short financially, but its potential sales could easily reach millions. Unity likely succeeded as a business, and that’s what truly counts. -- Edit: On the subject, I don’t think there’s a problem. The outcome will hinge on how this character is portrayed in the narrative. Ideally, a transgender figure should simply be a person, not tied to their identity.

It was quite forward-thinking in 2015.

What matters most is the personality of the character.

It doesn't matter; the game will be at most average, similar to the previous five AAA titles.

Someone isn't saying developers should be free from rules. What we mean is forcing political messages into games is misleading. The Nazis did terrible things like this, and it ended up causing harm. If you're using a trans character, make sure it feels authentic. But people wouldn't accept that during the Industrial Revolution! That's unrealistic. You're probably a moderator!
