A correction for Assassin Creed III on 2560x1080 or higher resolutions, especially in 21:9 aspect ratio (works on any resolution).

This fix applies only to the Steam version; unsure if it works for Uplay, let me know.
It will automatically adjust resolution and aspect ratio, though you can’t change it in-game. Other graphics settings remain functional.
Pre-rendered cutscenes (like the first one) will be converted to 21:9 from the original 16:9.
Most in-game cutscenes should work smoothly in 21:9 with the added horizontal scaling.
Please copy the original AC3SP.exe to another folder and paste this .exe into that directory (don’t replace or delete the original).
If you wish to replay it in the original 16:9, use the original .exe again.
Also remember to back up your save game somewhere else.
Thanks to jackfuste for making this possible, and for helping with AC4 on this aspect ratio in the latest patch.
If anyone knows how to remove the bow in AC3 or adjust the field of view in this game, let me know (latest patch).
done numerous tasks and it resolves them (perfect widescreen, widescreen fixer, confiq)
can it work on a triple screen without a black bar on the SIDE, not in 21:9?
running at 75hz (60hz default) with lower resolution than 2560x1080 will fill the screen completely without any black bars, and it won’t stretch. However, it feels very close to 720p performance, and adjusting to 2560x1080 at 75hz is causing issues with the confiq and GPU driver, resulting in a black bar on both sides. Any suggestions or solutions?
I finally found the solution, but the approach felt a bit like a pirate's way.
Now I can run AC3 and AC4 at 2560x1080, thanks!
You guys really helped a lot (maybe?).
I'll update the thread later for any revisions.
