You're questioning whether the AsRock X570 Taichi supports enough USB 2 ports for your NZXT X72 setup on the H710I. Since the USB hub you ordered hasn't arrived yet, you might want to verify the required ports before proceeding.

On their product specification page, it mentions two USB 2.0 headers, which should be sufficient. The main concern could arise from additional RGB parts or similar components that also need the same header. I faced a similar problem on another motherboard, but a Corsair Commander Pro resolved it. If you anticipate needing more than those two headers later, consider keeping the hub you purchased. Spoiler: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X570 Taichi/#Specification

I don’t have any additional RGB components beyond those provided with the case and the Infinity Mirror on the CPU Block. I’ll check it again.

This seems like a solid strategy. If you decide to return it and realize you still need it later, you can purchase it at a later time.

I'm expecting the NZXT USB hub to arrive by Monday, or maybe a bit later if needed.

It's been shown that using RGB can boost a computer's performance by at least 20%. Are you setting up a brand-new system? Let us know your experience.

I'm setting up a brand new rig. All fans are spinning but nothing is reaching the fans or anything. I just need to format my drives and install Windows now, and fix the power button for my H710I. It should actually work. I also need a 2.0 header for my NZXT Kraken CPU cooler.

That's a nice case, I had looked at NZXT cases but needed one for eATX mobo, so I went with the CM H500M. What parts are you getting? I did look at the X72 myself but went with a Tt Water 3.0 360 AIO. I think it's quite prudent of you to go with no or minimal RGB as the additional wires for RGB and ARGB can be quite a handful......learnt this the hard way. Anyway, hope the build goes smoothly for you....

I chose the X72, just need to connect everything, set up the basic drivers, format the drives, and get Windows running there.
