Asrock X470 SLI or B550 options available

I discovered a new motherboard recently and it seems impressive. The Asrock x470 SLI is priced near £115. It offers improved IO performance compared to the board I was considering before, though it lacks PCIe Gen4 support. I’m fine with that since I wouldn’t use it for that feature. A question remains: how valuable is this board compared to the B550 Pro4M, especially with only one ARGB Header available? Adding more ARGB strips would be challenging.

Which processor are you thinking of? These boards aren't great for more than eight cores. I suggest this alternative: MSI MAG B550M MORTAR

I’m considering either the Ryzen 5 3600 or possibly the Ryzen 7 3700X. The board price isn’t within my budget, so I need to decide which CPU fits better.

they suit the CPU well; they won’t mesh nicely with a Ryzen 9. I’d pick the latest B550 unless the X470 offers ports or features you require and the B550 lacks them.

Yeh, but I'm not planning to upgrade CPU for a while and if I did, I would upgrade mobo too. Also I wouldn't take advantage of PCIe Gen 4
