ASRock Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard supports M.2 slots for graphics cards.
Hello. I recently switched from an Asus Z390-P board to an ASRock Phantom Gaming 4, including a new CPU and other upgrades. Before that, I used an adapter connected to an M.2 slot for a secondary graphics card. I thought the setup would work similarly on the ASRock model since it also has an M.2 port. But I couldn’t locate the relevant configuration settings. Can anyone help me enable using an M.2 slot for a non-storage PCIe device on the ASRock Phantom Gaming 4?
I haven't personally tried it, but I've seen it demonstrated in several videos. I haven't encountered any motherboard setup requirements. Are you using an M.2 slot that supports PCIe 3.0 x4? I just rechecked a couple of videos recently to confirm there haven't been any updates to the BIOS.
I've already attempted it, yet it isn't recognized by the operating system.
