I've been trying to customize my I5 3570k but the ASROCK OC Tweak doesn't let me exceed 38 to around 44. I've changed the voltage settings to support higher levels, but it still can't go beyond that range. I've looked through many videos and forums, yet I'm still puzzled about what's going on.

Silicon lottery possibly resulted in a chip with limited potential for significant overclocking. It seems to be mostly a matter of chance.

When trying to increase the multiplier, it automatically reverts to 38; would the motherboard already know the highest level beforehand? Additionally, even when set to 38, the base clock remains the default in Task Manager and Resource Monitor.

When trying to increase the multiplier, it automatically reverts to 38, but the motherboard wouldn't have known the maximum setting in advance. Updating the BIOS might resolve this issue, though it could be related to a problem with the current BIOS version.

Sorry, I don't have the latest information on the most recent bios mobile game, which is BM75GL R2.0 with BIOS version 1.70A.
