ASRock FM2A88M Extreme4+ A-Tuning experiences issues following a Windows update on an 8.1 64bit system.
I'm working with the newest A-Tuning version for my motherboard (version 2.0.75.1) and it began crashing after about 15 minutes of use. When it exits, it displays an error saying "abnormal program exit." The machine is connected to a TV and only receives updates through Windows, having been running the system for several months. It started crashing suddenly after a Microsoft update, which I tried uninstalling to check. After reinstalling that update, the crashes resumed. I've also looked at other forums where users reported similar issues with this update.

The machine is connected to a TV and only receives Windows updates, having been running stock for several months. After the crash, I checked what changed on the system. The only update that was installed was a Microsoft patch from the provided link. It doesn't make sense this update should affect A-Tuning, but I removed it to investigate further.
I'm experiencing issues with the newest A-Tuning version on my motherboard (version 2.0.75.1). It began crashing after about 15 minutes of use. When it exits, it displays an error saying "abnormal program exit." My PC is connected to a TV and rarely receives new software except for Windows updates. It has been running normally for several months. Suddenly, A-Tuning started failing after a reboot and reinstallation, even though I removed the update. After reinstalling the Microsoft update, the crashes resumed. I've checked the changes made by this update and found it to be relevant.
I also discovered that downloading and installing KB3132372 on its own caused the Citibank Virtual Account Numbers desktop app (Windows 10 Build 10586.36) to stop functioning. Reinstalling or uninstalling the Citibank VAN program didn't resolve the problem. When I went through MS Start Screen settings, advanced options, and update history, selecting KB3132372 to uninstall restored the Citibank VAN app. It seems Microsoft continues to push updates that affect users' systems unexpectedly.
I'm hoping this information helps others or provides insight into potential solutions.
