Hey, a few months back I purchased an ASRock B550 Steel Legend. My previous motherboard was an MSI X570 Gaming Edge. I’m not familiar with any quick settings for the ASRock BIOS. On my old MSI board I just used F10 and the BIOS would auto-start, save, and close. Now it feels like I have to do everything manually. Many shortcuts that worked on my MSI and some friends’ Asus boards don’t function on mine anymore. I’m unsure if the BIOS is faulty or if my keyboard isn’t compatible with this version. I can’t even store my settings because I can’t assign a name or save them. Anyone else have faced this issue? I can share photos if helpful. My BIOS is original and hasn’t been updated. It seems to be from January 1, 2020 – quite old. I don’t want to keep updating it, as doing so several times recently damaged my BIOS chip on an MSI X570 board.

The navigation keys function properly. The F10 shortcut operates as expected.

You're wondering if you need to refresh your bios. It seems like the issue isn't just with the keyboard, so updating them might help.
