Hello, I’m considering matching the Ryzen 7700 non X with this motherboard (B650M Pro RS). I plan to upgrade to 8800/9900X3D soon and have only read a few Reddit reviews. Would your thoughts on this choice be helpful? On Newegg it’s listed at $125.

It's acceptable. The performance isn't outstanding, but the B650M DS3H or B650M-HDV would be more cost-effective, even though it still makes sense at the current price point.

The B650M-HDV/M.2 is a highly praised $110 motherboard, for example. Generally, unless you require advanced capabilities, opting for the lowest-priced model is acceptable. This board handles 7950X perfectly, making it suitable mainly when additional features are needed.
