I own a game I purchased that I can't run because it crashes my computer immediately. It seems the frame rate is too high for my system to manage. The game is Lego Batman: The Video Game. I was considering checking the settings file and turning on VSync before launching it, but I have no idea how to do that.

When the PC starts and crashes, the problem isn't related to settings. Steam files are located in the library folder. Using the default version means the files are at C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/<game>.
