You can wait forever waiting for price decreases that may or may not come. Do you think it's a good price? Do you need it? Then buy now. Realistically you're not going to see massive price drops. Maybe $30 - $50. Which, really, isn't a whole lot in the grand scheme of a build.

The core issue is deciding whether to wait for DDR5 and the promised 10% boost from Alder Lake, or go ahead and upgrade immediately. Zen 3 is widely available now, and prices are falling rapidly—how much further can it actually decrease?
