Hello, I own a Zotac 3060Ti purchased on January 2nd, 2023. From the start it experienced thermal issues, reaching temperatures around 85-86°C during intense gaming sessions. To address this, I followed a tutorial I found online and managed to keep my system stable for a year without graphics glitches or instability. My temperatures remained better, and the fans ran quieter. Recently, during a playtest session with DeltaForce Ops, I encountered stretched textures and polygon artifacts on weapons, with temperatures near 86°C. Although it was acceptable because the game was in Alpha stage, I suspected it wasn't the main concern. For temperature management, I confirmed it could handle the load. After installing Guardians of the Galaxy, the first few hours were smooth, but later I experienced freezing and crashes, accompanied by display and NVIDIA driver errors in Windows Event Viewer. Temperatures reached 83°C. I tested various benchmarks and even disabled undervolt settings, but no issues arose. I also adjusted memory clock slightly to see if it helped. Overall, my experience suggests the GPU isn't failing, just that some games still cause problems under certain conditions.
I understand that items such as space invaders or pixel dots aren't fully captured in screenshots. However, geometry glitches often stem from VRAM problems, which can lead to these issues. You'll find many examples on YouTube, though this doesn't necessarily indicate a software problem.
It seems like this device has been gradually losing performance over time, similar to what happened with my 4890 and 7790 models. At first, I managed to prolong its lifespan by adjusting the voltage, but eventually it started showing signs of wear. Removing the memory overlclok might be an option, though if it's truly failing, it could take longer than the remaining warranty allows.
