I own an AURORA x399 Extreme board with 2920x. It seems to work on my R9 380 but not with a 750Ti. I also observed the motherboard has two 8-pin connectors—could that be the issue?

My recall is the eighth pin on the motherboard, typically used for CPU tuning, unrelated to graphics cards.

Are you sure it's a Corsair CX600M? Could there be another reason behind the problem, like insufficient power?

I don’t understand much about the hardware, but I know most motherboards don’t usually need a second 8-pin power connector for the CPU. It’s mostly reserved for special cooling setups or overclocking, and it’s rarely used in everyday situations.
