Arma 3 demands significant processing power. With your 4790k and R7 260X, you can achieve high performance, but expect around 40-60 frames per second.

It's the issue I'm facing. Just 40% CPU utilization.

I found a more suitable platform earlier, but ARMA seems underpowered and the 8350 struggles to keep up. Some i3s outperform it in certain tests. I own an 8350, a GTX 770, and 16GB RAM, and ARMA 3 still managed around 10-30 FPS for me. It's not fun to play with. : / Don't criticize the 8350 too much though—I have one and haven't run into major problems except for ARMA 3, which I don’t really care about since the controls are essentially fake bots. http://www.anandtech.com/show/8427/amd-f...hera-95w/3

Absolutely, that's common. I usually prefer games that use more GPU power.

Apologies for the delayed reply, but I encountered the same problem when using fullscreen-windowed. Switching to true fullscreen makes it run significantly better.

I'm currently out of the loop. I'll update the settings once I'm back home tomorrow. Thanks!

However, my non-gaming laptop manages to play the game at 30 frames per second.
