Arma 3 remains an enjoyable title, though its optimization falls short. I can smoothly play it on Ultra with SP or COOP and a small group, maintaining over 60 FPS. However, at MP King of the Hill with 100 players, performance plummets to around 20 FPS regardless of adjustments. Even at the lowest configurations, my CPU is only using 40% of its capacity (i7 4770k OC to 4.5GHz) and the GPU runs near 70%. Yes, it’s playable. Performance suffers significantly on most MP50 servers. Also, FPS varies greatly depending on the server you join—better servers tend to be crowded, causing long waits in lines. More scripts generally lead to lower frame rates.
