Your CPU might hit a performance limit. However, since your 4.6-7GHz 4790K has been struggling in that game before, you'll likely perform just as well as possible.

Its fine, arma 3 is a CPU demanding game. The better the CPU the better the performance. And if your interested I am apart of a group (Mil-sim) If your interested you can hope on our TS: ts114.light-speed.com:4568

I own a 4690k and a 970k; everything works until you jump online. Still, it's a decent game overall. Largely in the 40s online, with some dips in the 20s featuring high and ultra levels.

You'll be fine - but avoid OCing - the NEX PSUs are crappy.

I’d skip the SSD right away and grab a GTX 980 instead, then later add a SSD when needed. Right now it means slower boot times, but you’ll get more power for gaming in the long run.
