Steam Arma 2 is available for 2 euros, while Arma 2 with Operation Phoenix costs 4 euros. I remember wanting to try Arma but lacking funds. Is it worth it? Should I consider the bundle for DayZ mods? A seasoned player would be best to advise. Thanks ahead!

Arma 2 is quite solid. Although I haven't played in a while, I recall that finding a group to join can lead to hours of fun without you even noticing. The system needs aren't too high either, especially with a budget gaming setup. Regarding DayZ mods, they're decent overall, though the graphics can be inconsistent. Overall, it's something worth getting.

People still enjoy the DayZ mod. You found the campaign and scenarios interesting, but I recommend checking an inventory tutorial on YouTube and trying the operation arrowhead training mission to get started. I believe the Arma 2 demo includes that mission. Otherwise, I don’t have much more to share. Multiplayer play is limited to a few games like “wasteland,” and domination seems rare.
