I encountered the same issue. Open the epic launcher, locate Arkham Asylum in your library. Press the three dots (...) on the right side of the screen next to the game line. This will display a menu. Choose "verify" and it should fix the problem.

Thank you for your update. I've already uninstalled the game and am now redownloading it. I'm concerned that my progress might be lost, but I hope this will resolve the issue. After completing the redownload, I'll check immediately as you advised. Appreciate your help. Will let you know once everything is working. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Remove and restore the application. Your saved progress will remain intact.
