The request is entirely pointless; nothing ever results from them, particularly on sites like change.org. Valve would refuse to approve any content because it wouldn’t align with the narrative shifts introduced by Half Life Alyx, and they consistently avoid releasing incomplete titles.

It's leveraging change.org to assess interest, similar to a GOG wish list. Valve doesn't overly guard their intellectual property—consider "Hunt Down the Freeman" as an example. Just avoid it if you're sensitive to PTSD, but the idea is clear.
