The latest update on Ark Survival required two Titanic Xs and a 5960X for 1080p medium playback. It’s still a challenging game, known as Ark Survival of the Fittest.

Ark requires high-end configurations. I own a GTX 1070 Strix and an i7-4790k, achieving around 70fps on ultra settings. My laptop handles Ark decently, but with 16GB RAM it runs about 20-30fps. Intel HD 520 and i5-6200U graphics are solid, though performance depends on the settings. It's like a tough competition—boosted settings let you face around 40 players or custom modes, and whoever stays last wins.

You're seeing 70gps performance after loading your 4790k SLI 980TIS cards, achieving 30 fps at medium 1440p resolution.

I'm running at 1080p and 70FPS, using an OC to 2138Mhz. That might be influencing performance. Also, Ark doesn't handle SLI very well—I don't think so. When I used twin 770s, my speed dropped to about 5-10fps compared to just one card.

NVM, I was just using high presets. I switched to Epic and got around 50-55 on it.
