Hello,
1. If a new PC comes with Argb PC case fans and you prefer not to use software, can I simply unplug a fan cable to turn off the Argb indicator? The fan will still work, but the light will be disabled (I assume by disconnecting the cable from the Argb hub/controller/splitter).
2. With Argb PC case fans, RGB RAM, and an Argb cooler, the lights are permanently turned off through software. When the system restarts or powers on, does the Argb indicator come back on after a short delay?
3. I’m not focused on the lights themselves. Are there any advantages to using Argb components like PC case fans, RGB RAM, or an Argb cooler?
4. Please correct me if my understanding is incorrect; the main advantage of Argb seems to be improved visibility of fan operation or a simple confirmation that a component is working.

yes, for a brand new pc it would work. for an older model it might function similarly with the same fan header for rgb, though you can't manage it through software.
yes, when the software is closed from the system tray and the service is stopped, the adjustments will return.
unless
your particular rgb device can save the desired settings without using software, then it will display the rgb during startup (you might be able to turn it off in the BIOS if supported).
then opt for a standard one. rgb is just an extra feature.
that's not the main purpose of an rgb device, but it's an additional choice.

If you plan to swap to non-argb fans without lights, you should detach and disconnect all argb fan cables. Assume one cable connects to the motherboard and another to the argb hub/controller/splitter. Then install the new fan using only one cable on the motherboard, disregarding the argb hub/controller/splitter. You won’t need to connect anything else.

yes. you're correct. if you wish to use non-rgb fans, the process remains similar to installing a standard pc fan.
