You're experiencing fan issues with your new B660M-A-D4 setup. It seems the fans aren't detecting properly in BIOS, and the power supply is working but not providing enough heat dissipation. Check if you have the correct number of fan headers—your motherboard likely needs a 4-pin header for chassis fans, while your cables use 3 pins. You might need to use a compatible cable or adjust settings in BIOS to ensure proper fan recognition. If problems persist, consider consulting the manual or contacting support.

The RGB header supports only RGB signals, excluding PWM. If your CHA-FAN or SYS_FAN headers aren't linked, detection won't work. You'll likely need 4-pin extension cables for proper power connections. Updated September 19, 2022 by An0maly_76 Added more details

From what you observe in the image, it seems the fan connector wasn't inserted. Are you certain all connections are correct? Did you force any parts into place? Ideally, the fans should include two connectors—a 4/3 pin female and a 3 pin female with a male side. The 4/3 pin unit needs to link to a 4-pin fan header splitter or the motherboard's fan header. Note that the 3-pin header can still be connected to the board's 4-pin header.
