Arena Commander version PTU 1.1.5 launched for Star Citizen.
The highly anticipated 1.1.5 Alpha version has been launched to the Public Test Universe (PTU). This major release includes several notable updates such as two new flyable ships—the P-72 Merlin and the Vanduul Scythe—enhanced hull health across all vessels, a faster download launcher, a completely redesigned lobby system, and numerous other improvements. The PTU serves as a testing environment before the official rollout to the wider community. Those interested can transfer their RSI account via the provided link: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/account/copy/ptu. For detailed information, refer to the full patch notes available in the spoiler section.
I didn’t use the PTu launcher before, right? Do we need different tools now? It’s filling up a lot of room on my SSD.
This procedure will transfer all your account information to the Public Test Universe servers and create fresh security details for your testing account there. After the transfer finishes, you'll get an email with guidance on contacting and accessing this account within the PTU. Note: Your real account data remains distinct from this process. Any rewards or points accumulated in the PTU will be cleared once the testing period ends.
Oh no, Cutlass Hull's health boosted threefold? That’s going to take time. The warning about blood splatter during spawning might scare many players. I’m curious how others will react. Spawning without signatures could be a target for exploitation, but overall this patch looks solid and the download speed is decent. Most folks are still catching their breath.
Edit: Mute audio in the launcher is gone—no good.
Edit 2: After playing through Vanduul Swarm quickly, I’m feeling mixed. The new Hornet changes and the inability to deactivate comstab are things I need to adapt to. Holotable is now faster thanks to wall checks.
The speed is now around 9 MB/s thanks to the updated launcher. That’s a noticeable boost. I’ll check the remaining tasks in about 40 minutes.
