Hi, I'm trying to improve my setup and unsure which upgrade would help. I recently got the Meta/Oculus Quest 3 VR headset and can play DCS World at low settings, but the visuals are poor and performance is lacking. I want better graphics and smoother gameplay without going overboard.

My current specs are:
GPU: RTX 3070 FTW (8GB)
CPU: Intel i5 12600K
MB: Prime Z690M-Plus D4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 DDR4 32Gb (64GB ordered)
PSU: EVGA 750 B5 80Plus Bronze
SSD: Samsung 980 NVMe 3500mbs read/3000mbs write

I was considering an RTX 4070ti Super and thought maybe a mid-range RTX 4070 or CPU upgrade would work. I'm not sure what to choose. Any advice would be appreciated.

I believe this game could be improved. You might want to consider these suggestions.
You can check the video here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SxQhOgDyIlQ
Having 64GB of RAM will definitely help
And a GPU with plenty of VRAM would be beneficial

The most important upgrade would be the GPU. 8gb of VRAM is quite limited nowadays.

I recommend investing heavily in a GPU and opting for the RTX 4080 if your budget allows. Otherwise, the RTX 4070 Super offers the best value among new 40 series GPUs, providing a clear improvement over your RTX 3070. The 12600k will still perform adequately if you're constrained by GPU availability.

From the side, you might see the 7900gre as a solid value right now.

Thanks for the responses. I'm planning to upgrade my GPU... now to choose between the 7900 and the 4070ti super.
