I saved something on my laptop to the desktop. I need to transfer it to my MP3 player. I'm not very experienced with computers. Should I also consider moving it to another device, like an MP4 player? I don't know what to do. Your help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

What files did you upload? Where did they come from? Are they authorized?
Please revise your message to contain complete details about the system hardware and operating system.
Storage device specifications: brand, model, size, current usage?
Details of all linked accessories.
Connected network type: wired or wireless?
Audio player information: brand and model?
Additional data required.

What you're saying sounds completely foreign to me.
What I'm trying to do is just put the Bible on an MP3 player.

Look for someone close, like a family member or friend, to clarify my confusing words.
It’s usual to inquire about the host computer and network setup along with other specifics about the issue.
When details about the laptop or player aren’t clear, it’s hard to suggest solutions, ideas, or fixes.
Especially if the download/upload comes from an untrustworthy source (may carry malware) or is faulty.
More directly, always keep important software or data backed up—ideally twice over.
That means: yes, you should back up.

@Ralston18 is attempting to assist you. Numerous MP3 players, when linked to a PC, are identified as storage units. In such cases, you can simply transfer a file from the PC to the player, provided it is in a compatible format and placed in the correct directory, allowing access on the player. This is why inquiries arise, as only you fully understand your setup. We do not.
