Are you trying to unlock Phoenix bios?
Hello, I've begun using an older laptop—the Lenovo Flex 2 14—but it struggled with the GPU. Sometimes it only reached 70% and the CPU hit 100% during Fortnite, resulting in 60 FPS that wasn't stable. I considered unlocking the BIOS but couldn't locate anyone who had done so. Instead, I explored the 'Performance Menu' which offered BCLK and overclocking options, though I couldn't find any usable keys. My BIOS is a Phoenix SecureCore setup with no advanced settings available. Let me know if you need further help. Best, Alex
I used a Flex 4 without needing any BIOS updates or existing mods. The advanced settings were risky and could damage the laptop. I suggest using an app like "Throttle Stop" for Intel systems—it lets you control CPU multiplier, clock speed, power caps, and even voltage overclocking. Since your CPU can't be overclocked, set maximum power limits, replace the thermal paste, push the CPU to its highest multiplier, and slightly undervolt it to lower power use while maintaining performance.
