I thought so, but my USB has 32 gigabytes, and the download is 8 gigabytes. I’m not sure why it’s happening this way...

The USB drive is formatted with a type that supports larger files. For instance, exFAT is recommended over FAT32 since it allows files up to 4 GB while keeping compatibility. The Media Creation Tool will manage the formatting and ensure the drive is bootable. Simply uploading the file isn't enough; the process must write the data and prepare the device for use.

Windows 11 needs a device with TPM 2.0 and secure boot turned on. Your machine is probably brand new, so it’s likely the settings are off by default in the BIOS and must be activated first.
