Certainly, I understand you're unsure about the key elements involved or how to focus on the problem.

I can only offer ideas here. It’s tough to fix things without having the device with me. It feels like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Absolutely, it's still feasible.

I reviewed your advice and discovered my monitor isn't built with a Samsung panel but instead uses a display from AU Optronics, as reported by Rtings. I can verify that after being off for some time, it behaves similarly to yours. Regarding anti-motion blur, I attempted to disable it, but it didn’t make a difference since it was already off. (Note that this model supports FreeSync and is technically Gsync compatible, which I confirmed during its purchase.)

It seems VA tech is likely involved. Check if dynamic contrast or HDR features are activated.

The screen clearly lacks HDR support, though it features a dynamic contrast setting called "HDCR" within the Professional OSD menu. After verification, this setting is already disabled.

Update for everyone: I finally switched to a different set of displayport cables from Amazon—they seem more dependable—but I’m still dealing with the same problem. It makes me think about how the monitor in my room, especially during winter drafts, might impact its lifespan. Maybe I should replace it now to avoid further issues. Still, I’ve picked up a few lessons over the years that could help.
