When voltage stays constant, temperature rises in a straight line. A 10% increase in clock speed equals a 10% rise in heat. If both clock and voltage are boosted by 20%, the effect becomes exponential—about a 44% increase in heat (1.20 × 1.20 = 1.44).
Increasing the heat will also raise the power consumption of the MB, which means the VRM will have to work a bit harder. As long as you manage the temperature, it shouldn't be an issue.
I used to run a 8350 with no voltage increase OC'd a little bit... I was on air and my board wasn't the best...
I think you'll be fine, but I think you'll have more fun OCing with some higher voltage and better cooling. Or at least you'll see better results...
