So ... listeners. Do you really need fans on your RAM sticks? I was considering it might help if you have an AIO CPU cooler for better airflow, but then I thought it could actually be more effective with the AIO since the RAM isn’t touching a hot CPU directly. As an example, I’m using 4x8Gb 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance memory with an AIO for the CPU. It will be placed on both sides of the CPU, so there should be some space between each module. I’m not against a slight overclock, but I prioritize stability over speed. So — would adding air cooling be worthwhile to keep things cool, or is it just unnecessary noise inside the case?

Using a fan to cool your RAM is unnecessary; it's not required.

They’re only present for appearance, not functionality, which is why server RAM lacks heat spreaders.

You should definitely include water-cooling blocks with RGB lighting, as combining both boosts speed and looks great. Matching your coolant to your build’s color scheme adds extra visual appeal. For even greater performance, consider using hardline tubing—just like the RGB designs on EVGA FTW cards enhance their speed.

It's a well-established fact that watercooled RAM boosts performance by around 7 FPS in most games, and adds another 3 FPS when paired with RGB memory.

It seems you're comparing performance metrics to a specific board name, suggesting a threshold of 10 FPS. Let me know how I can assist further!

Even RAM that has been watercooled still shows only minor improvements. However, RAM speed and timing settings can significantly influence performance, potentially altering frame rates by 5 to 15 frames per second.

Most people are criticizing Linus for his latest "clickbait" headline. However, you don't necessarily need it. With sufficient airflow, things should work okay. Heat sinks on RAM might offer some benefit, but I haven't found solid evidence of thermal throttling in RAM without actual airflow.

Don't miss adding the stickers from the RAM box, which boosts performance to another 5fps.

They don't require active cooling, yet they remain cooled through the air movement in your system.
