I’m planning to refresh my 6-year-old PC and want to make sure I haven’t missed any important features or restrictions. Please share your thoughts.
The GPU looks good, but I’d consider a more affordable option. The Sapphire Pulse saves $60, and the Power Color Fighter is another $20 less than that. This would cover a solid 1tb NVME storage. For the in-house brand, Microcenter is the go-to choice. I own one in my AMD system and it performs well.
It would work well. I’d pick the 1tb for Windows, the 2tb for games storage, and the 480gb for other purposes. It would make a solid external drive option in an enclosure, which I already own.
The build looks good, and I share your thoughts on this.
Something I’d want to check is the cooler. If it’s an older component, it could be close to its useful life.
I think replacing it with a Phantom Spirit EVO or another good tower cooler would be wise.
If you prefer an AIO, the Arctic Freezer II is a solid option.
ADATA isn’t known for SSDs, so for a budget-friendly yet dependable drive, consider the Crucial P3 Plus or Tgroup MP44:

The sole exception could be the Tomahawk's lack of PCIE 5.0 M.2 support.
