Are you sure about having a SATA power supply available in this configuration?
Hi all, I bought a pre-built PC and was hoping to transfer my old SSD to the new machine, however after opening it up I don't think there are any SATA power cables to actually attach my SSD to? I don't really want to open it up any further as I'm not overly confident with putting it back together again. Please see images below along with a pic of what SSD I have. On another note, is there space on this motherboard for another M2 drive? Thanks!
Thanks
You require comprehensive information about this prebuilt item.
Sorry, I'm a bit unfamiliar with all of this. What's the best way to obtain the specs for pasting them in here?
When purchasing it new, a purchase link will be valid. If it has been used, Speccy or HWInfo will suffice.
Hopefully the overview suffices... The full report couldn't be shared due to character limits.
Thanks!

Pre-built new?
Observed a few things...
Check the memory modules (RAM).
The module on the right doesn’t seem completely secured.
There also looks like a screw is missing from the motherboard.
The GPU fan blades appear to be a bit damaged.
It seems the interior is quite dusty as well.
Nothing wrong with pointing out possible problems...
Power cables for SATA disks are sourced from the PSU, which you hadn't mentioned before. The setup appears to be a typical configuration. Check your PSU's side where the cables emerge. Usually, PSUs have multiple ports, but in modular designs, it might not have been installed properly. See the image here: https://imgur.com/Xevx1mQ. View the picture: https://i.imgur.com/Xevx1mQ.jpeg
You might be correct. Check the back side of the PC case to identify the type of PSU. If it’s semi- or fully-modular, there’s no SATA power cable connected to the PSU for shutting down drives. Verify whether unused power cables were included with the PC. For a fully-wired PSU, explore the power cable arrangement closely—likely right next to the PSU—and retrieve the SATA power cable. If you’re not comfortable with this process, take the PC to the store where it was purchased and request the SSD installation or contact their on-site technician, as they are required to offer customer support.
