Are you seeking guidance on constructing a new PC?
Hi, I'm planning to assemble a new PC featuring an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor and a Sapphire Radeon RX 7700 XT with CORSAIR vengeance graphics. I have a 32GB 6000MHz RAM module and a M2 drive. I'm seeking recommendations for the optimal motherboard to pair with these components, considering my future plans for a 1080p display at 165Hz. Thanks.

I wouldn’t want to be limited to the B840 motherboard with an AM5 build, to be honest. It’s just as costly as some B650 or B850 models, and it’s essentially a refreshed version of the older B550 chipset—it doesn’t even allow CPU overclocking. You’re also locked into using PCIe 4.0 for both the GPU and the main M.2 slot (though that’s not a huge issue). If these boards could sell for around $90, they might have been more affordable options. But at $140, it doesn’t seem very practical.
