Hello everyone,
I am searching for a suitable shared calendar application for our office on Windows 10/11. This tool should include the following capabilities:
Shared calendars
Notifications that appear directly in the interface (not just via email or taskbar alerts) whenever someone updates the calendar
The ability to open the app independently on Windows desktops and laptops, staying visible above other applications
An intuitive user interface
Regrettably, the Outlook calendar app doesn’t meet these requirements.
If anyone has recommendations for a shared Windows calendar with these features, it would be greatly appreciated, as I’m having difficulty locating one.
Thank you.

i don't personally use win 10 but i know there is now a calander app built in. and i know you can share it with others and allow editing rights to those others.
have you looked into this option already? seems like it might be helpful.
otherwise i don't know of anything else other than google calendar.
these would be a couple of free options if one can work for your needs.

What aspects of Outlook are lacking? Understanding the specific shortcomings could guide a better alternative. Are you relying on Exchange/AD for your email system? What is the number of users?

A single team of 5 to 6 individuals will be utilizing it. Outlook isn't ideal because a) it can't keep the Outlook window above other windows and b) it lacks dedicated live updates; it only provides email notifications or uses the notification pane in the task bar, which doesn't meet their needs.
