I assembled a workstation using a 220ge processor and the iGPU Vega3 graphics. It’s not the most powerful setup, but it handles everything smoothly. Light gaming works just fine, and I even managed to run his BrickRigs game on it. The best part is I replaced the heat sink, allowing passive cooling and keeping the system quiet. It’s barely audible except when the storage drives start spinning at night.

she still uses her Sony Vaio Core2Duo laptop, and it performs well for everyday tasks like word processing, spreadsheets, browsing the web, and watching YouTube.

It's great to hear! I think the 220GE is a solid choice right now. They also offer a clear upgrade route later if needed. In a few years, many older Ryzen APUs could end up affordable as AM5 becomes standard.

I'm not familiar with Zoom, I usually prefer Skype for chats.
